BARBERA D'ALBA DOC 2022

This is the oldest of our vineyards: 80 years.

“Old” vineyard means few grapes but of excellent quality. Precisely for this reason our Barbera d’Alba is not banal, but is a “flagship” of our production. This Barbera was born following the purchase of the vineyard of Tonieta (Antonietta), an elderly lady from the town of Monteu Roero who, when I was a child, loved preparing Tiramisu for me, which I was very fond of!   Vitigno: 100% Barbera Grape variety: 100% Barbera Production area: Monteu Roero Vinification: destemming of fresh grapes. Fermentation in stainless steel tank. Upon reaching the peak temperature, délestage in a steel tank at a controlled temperature at 18°C overnight. Reassemblies and punching downs during the tumultuous phase. Ageing: terracotta amphorae
